What is a zine?
A zine is a compilation of creative works, usually artworks and writing. It’s similar to a book or a miniature magazine.
What is this zine's theme?
This zine aims to explore Haikyuu characters in a fantasy setting. This can take the form of Haikyuu characters as mages, riding dragons, engaging in sword fights
What are the zine specs?
For Profit, Available both Physically and DigitallyUS Letter Size (8.5 x 11inches)Perfect Bound, Fully ColouredSFW, Gen80 pages, 27 artists, 6 writers, 5 merch artists, including guests (exact numbers subject to change)
How will contributors be compensated?
We aim to provide all contributors with a full bundle of the zine, inclusive of the zine itself, all available merch items, stretch goals and shipping. Funds will mainly go towards production and shipping. The remaining funds will be distributed among the mods and all contributors through the following profit cut system:
Page art: x1 per page
Spot illustrations: x0.75 per fic
Writing: x1.5 flat
Merch: x0.5 per item
Mods: x1 flat
Will ships be featured?
Ships will not be featured in this zine. All interactions should be kept platonic, or should be able to be interpreted as such.
Who is allowed to apply?
Everyone aged 16 and above at the point of the 4th of July will be able to participate in the zine. Individuals under the age of 18 should have the approval of a guardian and can be paid through a guardian's paypal.
Are you looking for more moderators / intern mods?
We will not be looking for more mods, nor intern mods.
Am I allowed to apply for more than one position?
Yes, although applicants who apply as both an artist and a writer will only be selected for one position. Artists who apply for both page and merch art roles and indicate interest in both may be considered for both positions.
Will everyone who applies get an email regardless of their results?
Yes, result emails will be sent to everyone who applies.
